Director of Advancement is responsible for working with the Executive Director, Board of Directors, and Fundraising Committee for planning and coordinating all aspects of fund development and public relations for Proyecto Juan Diego. Provide leadership on all fundraising initiatives including special events, major gifts, planned giving, sponsorships, donor cultivation, and Grants. Identify, organize, and manage fundraising activities with a focus on new opportunities to obtain ongoing and increased support from corporations, public and private organizations, faith communities, individuals, and Grants.

Proyecto Juan Diego offers Social Work Interns, both BSW and MSSW, the opportunity to enhance their experience and expand their knowledge by exploring social work principals, assisting walk-ins, community engagement, individual and group empowerment.
AmeriCorps VISTA PROGRAM
The goal of AmeriCorps VISTA is to support organizations that fight poverty by encouraging volunteers and mobilizing funding. This VISTA project will break the cycle of poverty by strengthening Proyecto Juan Diego's management systems, analyzing data trends to improve services and better communicate them to donors, and developing volunteer recruitment and management processes and procedures to allow the organization to empower more low-income families to be healthy and self-sufficient community members through preventative health services, educational programs, and family activities.
